It’s hard to make something like above video, but not impossible. In this video, I do a hold ECO (engineering order) for a path that’s violating hold timing. I do it in a ‘first principle’ way. Now what does that mean?
Generally, to fix hold timing, you add or insert buffers/repeaters. But what goes in the software is unknown. In this video, I uncover the unknown and show you exactly what happens in a hold ECO
Next, I also introduce a classic case of interface constraints which looks very trivial, but we look and read in between the lines to show you what does those constraints mean
exactly to an STA engine…
You can find more of such cool concepts in my pre-launched STA – 2 course:
And you must be wondering what’s the cue that motivates me to do all these videos!! Well, I follow the below:
“Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly
you are doing the impossible. Virtually nothing is impossible in this world if you just put your mind to it and maintain a positive attitude” – Francis of Assisi
Till then, enjoy the videos and happy learning!!!
