We just finished the first high intensity Physical Design workshop of the year using OpenLANE/Sky130 and you would be amazed to find out the level of participants and their solutions to some very unique problem statements. Infact, this time, we came up with 3-4 new observations, which can be very easily incorporated in existing workshop. Kudos to entire team - @Praharsha Mahurkar, @Nickson P Jose, @Gautham Pai and @Radhika
Another interesting thing that came up from participants is to convert some of VSD online courses to 5-day workshop with Sky130 PDK's and guess what, we have already started to port all our content to Sky130. You will see 2 new workshops re-launched with Sky130. Topics are under NDA, so stay tuned...
That's not all, there are 3 new workshops planned exclusively around RISC-V (topics under NDA, hint - 1 back-end, 2 front-end) which are straight around industry requirements. This year is going to really exciting for everyone who is keen to learn cutting edge open-source.
I have not even started mentioning about Analog design using real PDK's
