Hi ,
We started this year with SoC/Physical Design workshops with 180nm OSU PDK's and qflow
We are ending this year with SoC/Physical Design workshop with 130nm Skywater/Google and OpenLANE
Not only that, this year close to 3500+ participants had attended VSD exclusive workshops/webinars and 90% of them are doing well in their respective fields. I don't remember the exact count of how many of them got interview calls or real jobs, but I did see some "Thanks Messages" from so many participants, and even shared some of success stories on social media.
Sharing knowledge which helped change so many lives, itself, is a success for VSD. What else can we ask for?
We covered, not only Physical design, but RISC-V, Analog, Medical, System Design using Verilog, DFT, CMOS process, Bluespec and many more. We also had shown how all these fields are connected to chip design and play a vital role in building a chip. And hence, building a chip like building a city.
VSD wanted to start new workshops in 2021 itself, but it looks like there's one round of VLSI Industry Placements still happening in December, so there's a request from many participants for the SoC/Physical Design workshop. Also, many of you had missed previous 130nm Skywater/Google and OpenLANE workshops. Hence, planning next one (AND LAST ONE of 2020) "Advanced Physical Design using OpenLANE/Sky130" from 25th Nov to 29th Nov, 2020

Make sure, by end of this year, you learn something new and exclusive
Make sure you learn so much that you are indispensable
Note - I am also still learning
