Today, we accelerate India's vision for RISC-V leadership and next-gen semiconductor R&D -  VSD and SiFive have officially partnered to launch the VSDSquadron PRO, a high-performance RISC-V development board powered by SiFive's silicon.

This collaboration is the result of years of technical alignment, shared vision, and a relentless commitment to open innovation. And now, it's finally live — a major leap forward in making cutting-edge RISC-V hardware accessible for applied research and development at the college level.

Alongside the board, we’re introducing a limited “Edge AI Deployment Lab” internship program exclusively for the first 18 users. This is a hands-on, hardware-level initiative (not for beginners) designed to fast-track real-world RISC-V + AI applications in academic settings.

We believe this partnership can play a pivotal role in enabling institutions across India to:

• Access industry-grade RISC-V platforms
• Drive faculty and student-led research in AI, ML, and Embedded Systems
• Build a sustainable innovation pipeline, starting at the grassroots
