The overall showcase truly exceeded our expectations. We've seen even
commercial-grade chips face hurdles during their product launches. But what transpired here was a testament to the dedication and collective effort of the RISC-V community in India
Leading up to the event, we delved deep into cleaning up numerous RISC-V based Arduino libraries. Had it not been for this event, this task would have easily extended by another six months
Huge shoutout to:
Chitra Hariharan from VLSI Society of India (VSI) for her
meticulous attention to every detail of VSDOpen and for sharing her invaluable experience to make the conference a roaring success
Dr. Satya Gupta, the backbone of the event. Despite several management challenges that cropped up, it was Satya Sir who came to our rescue, ensuring a seamless execution
Heartfelt thanks to Dr @Jamuna S and Dr. Manjunath T.C., Ph.D. (IIT Bombay) from Dayananda Sagar Institutions. Their
unwavering support, from handling technicalities to securing permissions, was crucial.
A huge round of applause for our wonderful judges Vijayamanohar Nagarajan from Qualcomm and Dr Nanditha Rao from International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore for helping us with fair judgement from industry and academia perspective
Last but by no means least, immense gratitude to our phenomenal team:
Dinesh Annayya, Yatharth Agarwal, Soumya Kulhalli, Visruat T R, Vishvesha V, and S Vishnu Vidyesh. Without them, VSDOpen and the RISC-V based hackathon would never have seen the light of day
Cheer To innovation and beyond, by all entities tagged below.
VLSI System Design, Anagha Ghosh and myself would
personally extend our heartfelt Thanks to all of you (tagged below) who considered this event as a crucial one towards democratization of opensource EDA, hardware, chips and supporting this event as mentors
