The OpenLANE Physical Design workshop is designed for professionals and students who want to deepen their understanding of physical design and learn about the latest tools and techniques in the field. The workshop will be led by experienced industry experts who will share their knowledge and experience in the field.

Participants will have the opportunity to work on hands-on exercises and projects to apply what they have learned. And those who complete the workshop will be eligible to participate in a VSD research program starting on February 4th.

The research program will allow participants to work on cutting-edge projects and conduct original research under the guidance of industry experts. This is a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience and make valuable connections in the field. But you need to qualify. Last time, VSD generated 10 analogue IPs as a part of a FREE research program, which is currently the basis of many educational programs globally. And participants who built the IPs are either doing great in top tier 1 companies OR got admitted to Masters/PhD programs in top universities globally.

This time, we will be introducing Physical design-based research problem statements (and there are many). But to attempt those, you need to complete the workshop 100%. To make sure, everyone gets an opportunity to join the research program, the workshop is charged nominally (we can't keep it for free, but we want many participants to attempt it)
